Zhang Haijun, the general manager of Chuangkai Intelligent Equipment (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., graduated from Jilin Engineering Normal University majoring in electromechanical integration. Before starting his business, he was responsible for the market development and service of driving products in Jiangsu, Shanghai and Anhui in an enterprise in Shenzhen, focusing on the field of industrial automation for several years. Founded in 2009, Chuangkai Intelligent Equipment (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a series of models, such as chip AOI, sorter, mounter, high-precision measuring machine, etc., serving leading enterprises in the industry in such subdivided fields as Finisar, Sols, Xuchuang, and several institutes of CETC.
Wuxi iPark: Why did you choose to settle in Wuxi Hi tech Zone iPark?
Zhang Haijun:
Founded in June 2009, Chuangkai Intelligent Equipment (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. has experienced three transformations from the traditional industrial automation control field to the current focus on the semiconductor industry micro assembly field. In the process of constantly eliminating backward production capacity and updating iteration, we increasingly need a high-quality, efficient and complete office environment, which plays a vital role in improving the brand image and further expanding the space of enterprises. At the end of 2021, we will settle in the B1 building of Taurus, Phase II of the Software Park. We plan to rent the opposite floor in the near future, so that the office space will be expanded to 2300 square meters.

After settling in the software park, the park has greatly helped our company to reduce rent, tax and coordinate bank financing. Especially during the epidemic, it has opened a green channel for nucleic acid detection of left behind people, solving many worries.

I am a person who often has a "crisis awareness". It can be said that innovation and intelligent manufacturing are "always on the way", which is the biggest secret for Chuangkai people to make the enterprise bigger and stronger. Since the establishment of the machine vision department in 2015, Chuangkai people have actively sought transformation. In 2017, Chuangkai entered the field of artificial intelligence through a second transformation. In 2019, it anchored the semiconductor industry and made every effort to enter the whole machine solution suppliers. Last year, it cut down 90% of traditional businesses, focusing on the application of machine vision technology, motion control technology, the Internet of Things and other technologies, It provides the majority of customers in the semiconductor industry with the overall solution of automated intelligent manufacturing system equipment, and serves the industry leading enterprises in the subdivided fields such as Finisar, Sols, Xuchuang, and several institutes of CETC.

Wuxi iPark: The latest product or technology developed by the enterprise?

The company mainly relies on its core technology advantages such as machine vision, artificial intelligence and motion control, devotes itself to research and development, and solves production problems for customers in the semiconductor industry. At present, the main products are AOI detection equipment, automatic wafer detector, robot TCP automatic calibration system, high-precision optical measuring instrument and sorter, mounter and other equipment. Based on precise alignment and precise attachment technology, the company's products have expanded to semiconductor micro assembly equipment and other fields. It has developed and successfully promoted four standard machines to the market, which are mainly used in semiconductor packaging, laser assembly, medical imaging module assembly, 5G optical communication module assembly, high-precision industrial and military sensor assembly, etc., filling the gap in domestic related equipment.

Wuxi iPark: What is the future vision of the enterprise?

From the demand side, the current domestic semiconductor industry, benefiting from the "Internet of Everything+domestic substitution" and the assistance of new energy vehicles, has seen an overall increase in chip demand; In addition, there is a very hard core logic, that is, domestic substitution. Although China has become the largest semiconductor consumer in the world, its chip self-sufficiency rate is low, and the localization rate is only about 20%. There is still a lot of room for domestic substitution. Moreover, the cost of domestic chips is only 1/2 to 1/3 of that of similar foreign products, which is very popular among SMEs.

       In the future, Chuangkai will develop in the direction of "specialization, refinement, specialty and novelty", relying on our years of experience in the field of industrial control, and strive to build the company into a high-tech enterprise with industrial vision robot system software, equipment, the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 intelligent production, and intelligent factories as its core products.
